How to reach Gosaikunda

Gosainkuda The journey from Sundarijal to Gosainkunda in Kathmandu is considered to be a good trek in religious, historical and anthropological terms. Gosaikunda : Overview

Rasuwa of Province No. 3 is a district with many glaciers. There are 108 glaciers in Rasuwa. Gosaikunda has become a destination for pilgrimage. Some of the glaciers have not even been named and it is not possible to go in the month of snowfall. The high mountains around the Nilopani of Gosaikunda, the snow-capped mountains near the mountains, the serene air, the enchanting atmosphere, the truly heavenly Gosaikunda meditation, is considered to be an excellent sanctuary for people engaged in sadhana.

To go to Gosaikunda, one can travel not only from Kathmandu but also from the gorge of Dhading district on the Prithvi Highway. Prithvi Highway is 30 km from Vareni to Bidur. Historic Glory Sindhuli Gadhi

Sindhuli Gadhi is the place where the Gorkhali army fought valiantly against the British army in 1824 BS. The British army led by Captain Kinlock, who was called for help by the last king of Kathmandu, Jayaprakash Malla, was defeated by the Gorkhali army at this place.

Trenches, barricades and forts built at that time can still be seen in the fortified area where Gorkhali defeated the British. The food here is different from the food of the lake, the lush junar and the view of the Tarai from the hills.

The BP Highway has made it easy to reach Sindhuli Gadhi, about 16 km north of the district headquarters Sindhulimadi and 140 km east of Kathmandu.
