Dashain is the great festival of Hindu in Nepal .In India it is celebrated as ‘Dashera ” which is a festival that has social and religious implications. It is also associated with the food. In the past, people did not have much money, so it was customary to eat meat during this day. But now people are eating at other times as well.There is a lot of talk about meat during Dashain .

People are getting older and have health problems. The main reasons for this are lifestyle and food.In the past, people used to ride bicycles and walk for half an hour. But now the movement of people has decreased. There has been economic progress, which is good but it has affected health. We eat like before, but the exercise is gone.At ten we eat even more meat. This does not mean that you should not eat meat that is too spicy, too spicy, too salty.

  • Vegetarians have the same amount of food during Dashain day. Vegetarians can eat vegetables, pickles, yogurt, honey and cheese.
  • Vegetarians and non-vegetarians should pay attention to food during these days .It is beneficial to use more vegetables. But don’t eat too many sweets.
  • Children should not be fed packaged food brought from outside. Noodles contain 37 to 200 percent more sodium than prescribed. It affects the kidneys of children.
  • Leaf food should be considered as leaf and kept in the leaf box. Cold drinks should be used sparingly. Beverages can be made at home
  • Alcohol consumption is high during the Dashain month. One pack of whiskey a day is said to be okay, which is wrong. It is not good to drink alcohol because of poor health.
  • No one should eat red meat. White meat and fish can be eaten. Even healthy people should not eat too much fish and meat.
  • You should not stop exercising during the Dashain day. People have a lot of fun and sleep during the tenth day.
