Helambu, Kiul, Palchowk, Mahankal and Echok VDCs of Savik are merged and located in the northwestern part of Sindhupalchowk district. Helmu village municipality is spread at an altitude of about 1000 to 5000 meters above sea level. According to the 2068 BS census, the total population of the village municipality is 17,671.
