Lakes are Fewa Lake, Begnas Lake, and Rupa Lake. Pokhara has developed into a journey tourism vacation spot for many years. Though Pokhara is the city that is more famous for vacationers. It is also known as one of the most popular tourist destinations in Nepal. Tourists from inside and outside the country visit Pokhara Valley to see the Himalayan range and lakes. It is also famous for Trekking, Rafting, canoeing, and bungee jumping.

Fewa Lake :(Fewa Taal)

             Fewa Lake is the second largest lake in Pokhara which lies in the southern part of Pokhara. It is a beautiful green-blue lake with colorful boats which can be used for a paddle. Fewa Lake looks most beautiful because of the shadow of Machhapuchhre Mountain on the lake.

Begnas Lake is a freshwater lake in Pokhara(Lekhnath) of the Kaski Districts of Nepal which lies in the southeast part of the Pokhara Valley. It is also the famous Taal of Pokhara. It is the third-largest Lake in Nepal.

• Rupa Lake:(Rupa Taal)

Rupa Lake is the second largest Taal among the seven Lakes in  Pokhara. And the village near Rupa Lake is called Rupakot. It is the best place for a hike.

The above three lakes are the most popular in Pokhara. Tourists never forget to visit these three lakes of Pokhara.

• Sarangkot:

Sarangkot is located in the northern part of Pokhara, Kaski District, Nepal. It lies at the top of Pokhara Valley. It is also a famous tourist destination. Tourists arrive there to see the sunrise over the Annapurna mountain. Sarangot is also famous for Paragliding. And the best time to reach Sarangot is September to November.  At this time the weather looks clear. We have to pay a certain amount for paragliding.

• Devi’s Fall:

Devi’s Fall is a waterfall located at Pokhara in the Kaski District of Nepal. It is also known as Patale Chhangon which means underground tunnel as it reaches the bottom. This place is most famous for tourists. Tourists visit there to see the waterfall which looks beautiful. It looks lovely in the Monsoon Season because the waterfall is heavy in the rainy season. And the perfect time to visit there is June-September, the Monsoon Season. 

-Shree Bindhyabasini Temple:

Shree Bindhyabasini Temple is located on the top hill of Pokhara Valley. This temple is also famous for those visitors who are Hindus. They visit there mainly to worship the goddess Bindhyabasini. The temple looks small and sophisticated.

Mahendra Cave: 

Mahendra cave is also located in the Pokhara valley. This cave is the largest limestone cave whose looks system is rare in Nepal containing stalagmites and stalactites. We can also see the statue of the Hindu god Lord Shiva inside the Cave.

This Cave also attracts thousands of tourists every year.

–Chamero Gufa:

Chamero Gufa is also known as Bat Cave in English translation. It is also the famous tourist destination of Pokhara Valley. We can see the bats all over the wall in this cave.

 Tal Barahi:

Tal Barahi is a temple which is located in the mid of Fewa Lake, the temple of Hindu goddess Durga Devi. Visitors reach there by boat. 

Pokhara Shanti Stupa:

This amazing and attractive Stupa is located at the Anadu Hill of the Former Pumdi Bhumdi Village Committee, in Kaski district, Nepal which is also the famous part of Pokhara Valley. From the top of Stupa, visitors can see the beautiful view of the Pokhara valley, Annapurna range, and Fewa Lake.

Tourists coming for trekking at Annapurna Base Camp have to go through Dhampus. Dhampus is a beautiful place. People also come there to see the fresh air and the beautiful greenery. There is also a fewatal in Pokhara. In the middle of it is the Taal Barahi temple. A small boat is used to reach the Taal Barahi temple. The water of Fewatal passes through a dam and falls into a leafy waterfall. We have to buy a ticket to see this waterfall.

The leaf is also called the David fruit. Gupteswar Cave is on the right side of the gate. There are many types of temples in this cave. For example: Krishna temple, Gai temple, Durga temple, etc. There is also a well. The water from that well came from the leaves. Another fun place is the Peace Stupa. This stupa is at the top of the hill. This stupa is the place where most of the Buddhists come to pray.

Vindhyavasini temple is located in ward 2 of Pokhara Municipal Corporation. This temple is considered to be the oldest temple in Pokhara. The main temple here belongs to Shri Vinghyavasini Mata. During Dashain there is illustrated storytelling. Ganesh Temple, Radha Krishna Temple, Ram Sita Temple, Saraswati Temple, Shiva Temple etc. also fall within the Vindhyavasini temple area. There is also a garden in this area. There are different types of flowers that make the temple area more beautiful.
