While reciting Shiva Purana, Matsya Purana, Skanda Purana or the glory of Lord Shiva, the name and glory of ‘Mount Kailash’ is discussed everywhere.Mount Kailash is the holy mountain where the gods Aradhyadeva Mahadev and Mother Parvati reside.According to the mythological interpretation, the four faces of this mountain are in the form of rhinestones, rubies, sapphires, and gold ornaments. Situated between six glorious mountains like Hemshring, Vaidyut, Kakundaman and Varun, Shringwan and Hiranyashring, this mountain is also considered as a symbol of lotus flower.
