World Heritage Sites In Nepal , Nepal is a beautiful country full of natural resources. Nepal’s natural and cultural values, the 10 World Heritage Sites also show how beautiful Nepal is. It is a matter of great pride that Nepal, which occupies only 0.03 percent of the world’s land area, is one of the 630 selected World Heritage Sites in the World Heritage List.<\/p>\n

Lumbini<\/h3>\n

Lumbini, the birthplace of Gautama Buddha, the founder of Buddhism, one of the world’s major religions, is located in Lumbini, Nepal. Lumbini is a UNESCO World Heritage Site due to its religious and historical significance, making it one of the largest Buddhist pilgrimage sites in the world.<\/p>\n

Changunarayan Temple<\/h3>\n

Some even call Changunarayan as Champaknarayan, some as Garudnarayan, some as Chaupanarayan. It is mentioned that these Narayans have existed since the true age. Changunarayan’s temple is considered to be the oldest in the Kathmandu Valley. Adorned with the ancient culture and art of Nepal, this temple is magnificent.<\/p>\n

Bhaktapur Durbar Square<\/h3>\n

In the Bhaktapur Durbar Square, the Bhaktapur Durbar area reflects the aggregate of 55 bricks made of brick and wood and the pagoda-style temples around the palace. The eyeglasses in it and the innumerable small paintings (among the pulses coming out of the first floor) are considered very important. The paintings on the inside of the first floor are excellent and the woodwork on the second floor is displayed. Another attraction of the Bhaktapur Durbar area is the statue of Bhupatindra Malla installed in a gold bar on a huge pillar in front of the Golden Gate.<\/p>\n

Swayambhunath Stupa<\/h3>\n

Swayambhu Chaitya of mythological and historical significance is located on the western hill of Kathmandu Valley. There is a religious belief that the Swayambhunath Stupa is not man-made but originated from itself. The most beautiful stupa of Swayambhu seems to have been built in the fifth century, in the time of Mandev. After the construction of Swayambhu Mahachaitya, people from different places including Kapilvastu, Vanaras in India and Lhasa in China have done innumerable works such as initiating or rebuilding Swayambhu Chaitya.<\/p>\n

Pashupati Area<\/h3>\n

Lord Sri Pashupatinath is worshiped not only by Nepalis but also by Hindus all over the world. Pashupatinath enthroned in the form of Jyotilinga and the holy Pashupatinath area around it has remained the center of worship and faith of all Hindus and a holy place of pilgrimage. The area around Deupatan, Jaybageshwari, Gaurighat, Chavahil, Kutumbahal, Sifal, Gaushala, Pingalasthan and Shleshmantak forest falls under Pashupat siege.<\/p>\n

Patan Durbar Square<\/h3>\n

From the 7th to the 13th century, Patan seems to have been established as the leading school of Buddhism in Asia. Bahal, Bihar and Stupa here have confirmed this. Patan Durbar Square area is found to be the main residence of Malla kings. In this region, the kings of the time used to build not only buildings but also many artistic temples suitable for eating, resting and sitting. Looking at the beautiful artwork of the Patan Durbar area, some people find it a city of beauty.<\/p>\n

Hanuman Dhoka Durbar Square<\/h3>\n

The Hanuman Dhoka Durbar Square in the center of the capital Kathmandu is a protected monument area. Apart from the palaces of the Mallas, there is also a palace built by Prithvinarayan Shah. The importance of the virgin house near the palace of Naut is just as important where the little girl of Shakya Kool is kept as a living goddess.<\/p>\n

Behind the statue of Hanuman, there is a small bardali on the roof of the building with a three-roofed temple on the left above the main entrance of Hanuman Dhoka. The Golden Gate, which is the main entrance to the palace on the right side of the statue of Hanuman, is specially decorated.<\/p>\n

Everest National Park<\/h3>\n

On May 29, 1953, Tenzing Norgay Sherpa of Nepal and Sir Edmund Hillary of New Zealand successfully climbed the world’s highest peak, Mount Everest. Everest National Park was established with the support of His Majesty’s Government, the New Zealand Government, environmentalists, tourists and local people. However, most of the high and scenic mountain peaks of Nepal, which is known to the world as a mountainous state, are located in the upper part of the Everest National Park.<\/p>\n

Chitwan National Park<\/h3>\n

Chitwan National Park is the first national park in Nepal. Established in the year 2030 under the name of Royal Chitwan National Park, it is now known as Chitwan National Park. Chitwan National Park has been established in terms of natural environment, wildlife, birds, flora and landscape. Spread over an area of \u200b\u200b932 sq km, the park covers the Chure Mountains, Rapti Valley, Narayani, Rapti and Ryu rivers, wetlands, lakes, ponds, forests, bushes, etc.<\/p>\n

Bouddhanath Mahachaitya<\/h3>\n

The largest stupa in the Kathmandu Valley is the Bouddhanath Stupa. It is located about 8 km east of the capital. Bouddhanath is also called Swasti. The Buddhist monastery on the ancient road to Tibet is 36 meters in circumference. The Buddhist area inhabited by Tibetan refugees attracts a large number of tourists for religious and other reasons.<\/p>\n
