New Height Of Sagarmatha : The height of the world’s highest peak, Mount Everest, has been made public. Nepal and China have made public the height of Everest at the same time in a special program in the capital on Tuesday. Everest’s new height 8848. 86 meters has been maintained.The height measurement was done separately by Nepal and China. The data obtained from the field survey has been processed by the Department of Surveying and Mapping. According to the department, discussions were held at the level of Chinese counterpart technical and steering committee.
