Fatteman : Life Background
Fatteman is a vivid, eternal and unforgettable name in the journey of Nepali modern song. The songs presented under this name stand on Nepali soil with endless vows. At one time, Fatteman’s voice was a limitation of popularity. Within that limit, he had established himself in about two hundred modern songs.
Fatteman was born on the full moon day of Mangsir in 1993 BS in Pashupati Devpattan, Kathmandu. He was the youngest son of two sons and four daughters of his father Jitman Rajbhandari and mother Purna Maya.
Her father was also a fan of music, so she had the opportunity to sing from an early age. His father used to sing while playing the tabla. He sang hymns in the courtyard of Pashupatinath along with his father and dedicated himself to these songs.
Because of Fatteman’s sweet voice, people have always loved listening to his hymns. They have been active in this field since the age of seven. From his childhood, he continued to participate in the daily hymns held at the Pashupatinath Temple premises.
Fatteman : The Singing Journey
From an early age, Fatteman used to raise his ears when it came to singing. That’s why he used to go wherever he was invited to perform. He was shocked to be able to stand on the stage and sing. Listening to his voice, the audience would also join him. He was a simple singer with a simple demeanor.
Fatteman entered Radio Nepal in 2018 BS. As he was engrossed in these hymns, he initially recorded the hymns on Radio Nepal as well. However, due to the popularity of their voices, they gradually began to take the lead in modern singing. Natikaji praised him by touching the steps of his modern song.
Natikaji was not only a fan of Fatteman, Natikaji also became one of his advisors and directors. That is why he provided his voice in many of Natikaji’s songs. Similarly, his other fan is Shiva Shankar. He also sang in some of the music of Shiva Shankar.He sang many songs of various lyricists and composers and made them very popular :
कस्तो माया लाइएछ आफ्नै मन मारिदिने
कस्तो बत्ती बालिएछ रात लामो पारिदिने ।

King Mahendra also praised the voice of Fatteman Rajbhandari. Listening to Fatteman’s voice, famous lyricists of Nepal also followed him. In fact, Fatteman used to sing only by touching words and music. That’s how his voices got to be known as soon as possible. He was a powerful scholar of voice. Fatteman is considered to be one of the most popular singers in Nepal. He is not only polite but also honest. In the sprawling Nepali world, he has emerged as a different humanist artist.
That’s why those who know him say, “Fatteman is Bambhole.” His desire, ambition and desire are considered to be the same musical journey. He got soaked in the same music. That’s why he has mingled with musicians as well.
The closer Fatteman was to Natikaji from the beginning, the closer he became to Natikaji throughout his life. Not only that, he also became Natikaji’s happiness and sorrow. If Natikaji’s thoughts have gone out, then most of those things have reached Fatteman’s ears. In fact, Fatteman is considered to be a giant.
Fatteman had a relationship with Narayangopal from an early age. Narayangopal used to call him Maharaj because of his association with Fatteman’s jogis. Narayangopal often went to Pashupati to meet Fatteman. Narayangopal also praised Fatteman’s voice since he was a teenager. After all, the feelings of these two became even more the same. He also included Narayangopal’s music.
In fact, around the year 2035-036, Narayanfatte’s song had established a new twist in the Nepali music garden. Fatteman’s songs quickly became popular with the Nepali public because of the high level of competition in their voices, music and lyrics:

The Later Life
In 2016, Fatteman embellished the seams of the Jamuna Rajbhandari, handed over grandchildren around his neck, and stole rings from women. After the marriage, her musical atmosphere was further developed. Then he started composing Echohoro music. As a result, twenty of his musical tunes were received in the history of Nepali music. Five children were born to Fatteman and Jamuna.
He has two brothers Rabindraman and Jitendraman and three sisters Tara, Janaki and Bina. He also had to bear the financial burden. But in Nepal, when the artist has to live only in sadhana, he has to walk barefoot even his 80-year-old mother and keep his wife and children hungry. In this regard, Fatteman is supported by Daiwale. He is running his life cycle by collecting rent from his parents’ property. He could not raise as much as he spent by singing.
Fatteman had become a church within eight years of his arrival on the radio. In the year 2026, he also participated in the modern song conference organized by Radio Nepal. He was the first in his voice to sing the song ‘Yasto Pani Hundo Rai’ Cha Zindagima Kai Lekai Le ‘. This competition was the first event of his life. He also received a gold medal from Sobapat King Mahendra. That incident made him even more excited. Filling the musical medal from the king’s arms, he sang more and more sweet songs.
Fatteman : The Voice Quality
Fragrance began to spread around his voice. Fatteman used to visit the palace from time to time. After singing there, he used to get expenses from King Mahendra. In fact, that was her golden age. He was following in the footsteps of singing with the same enthusiasm and fervor.
Chhinnalata Guthi also appreciated Fatteman’s singing activism. That is why he was awarded the Chhinnalata award in 2052 BS. News of Fatteman’s continuous singing journey reached the royal palace. That is why in the year 2055 BS, these mighty Gurkhas were adorned from the right arm. He was also awarded the Birendra Aishwarya Service Medal. Fatteman’s voice was appreciated from many quarters. He received honors and congratulatory letters from various places.
His contribution is being praised from all sides. Even small honors and decorations came out with more enthusiasm for Fatteman. Because he was simple, straightforward and polite, even small things were big for him. That’s why people say: “Fatteman is a good artist.” He only engaged in nafsi karma in the hope of fruit.
As a result, he struggled to keep his voice from getting old. He was only involved in echo singing. He sang solo songs during a huge function in Kathmandu on 25 July 2059, which was also broadcast live on Nepal Television. In the process, he gave a good introduction to the whole singing journey of his life. At that time, he was greeted with applause from the entire audience. At this time, his voice was full of admiration and his throat was touching the Nepali heart.

However, it was also seen that those who were not suitable for his work were recruited by the party as scholars in the Nepal Music Academy. Today, on September 10, 2070, he passed away. But the leaders of those parties are now claiming that Fatteman was a special singer.
