The Nepalese army had fought four times with the Chinese army in a small 47-hole hole 60 feet long, 6 feet high and 6 feet wide to target the enemy in the high wall made of large stones. Rasuwagadi seems to be divided into two parts. The eastern and slightly northern part of the fort is at a high place and the western part is at a low place.

It is said that the army personnel will be stationed at the top of the fort on the west side and the commander will inspect it from the top of the fort on the east side. The complete structure of the fort cannot be seen at a glance.

It is also considered a witness of Nepali history. During the reign of Bahadur Shah and Jung Bahadur Rana, Nepali ancestors fought from this fort and won the war with Tibet. In ancient times, it was a major gateway for trade between Nepal and Bhote. During the reign of Anshu Burma in the Lichhavi period, his daughter Bhrukuti used to do housework through this checkpoint.

It is the main traditional historical trade gateway as trade with Tibet is carried out through Rasuwagadi even during the Mallaka period. Until the latter half of the Middle Ages, the place seems to have been known as a major trade route and center. It is mentioned in the history of Nepal during the reign of Bahadur Shah that the Chinese army reached Nepal and reached Betrawati after defeating Nepal.
