Godavari National Botanical Garden was established in Nepal in 2019 BS for the protection, enhancement, collection-research, information-awareness of plants. . This botanical garden is located in Godavari Municipality-3, 11 km east of Lalitpur, Satdobato. Situated at the foot of Phulchowki hill, this park is open for tourism.
Last year alone, more than 56,800 students from 728 educational institutions of the country came here on study tours. A seed bank has been set up in the park where 300 species of vegetable seeds are preserved. Along with the Godavari garden at the foot of the Phulchowki hill, there is the ancient Buddha Gumba as well as the Godavari tank where the Godavari fair is held once in twelve years.
There are five stone fountains and cisterns flowing from the stone cut of the natural cave and the pool itself is a holy water bath for bathing in the 12-year-old fair.

How to Reach
