Online Electricity Bill Payment, Customers can read the meter themselves and pay their electricity bills online. The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has made such an arrangement after all the counters were closed due to the epidemic of corona virus. NEA has stated that customers who pay up to Rs 100,000 monthly can pay their electricity bills online. In this way, customers who pay their electricity bills online will also get a discount as per the rules.
Customers with a monthly tariff of more than one lakh will have to pay the electricity bill through the banking system in coordination with the concerned distribution center.
This is the process :
–Click Here to start paying your electricity bill.
-Create your user ID by clicking on the Register button in the user login on the right.
-Now log in by entering your mobile number and newly created password in the username.
-Go to the ad consumer shown there and fill in your customer details (electricity tariff payment branch, customer ID and customer number).
-Enter the number on your meter. Make sure the current meter number is real.
-Now you can see the bill amount raised in the meter there. You can easily pay the amount through various online payments including eSeva, Khalti, IME Pay, Connect IPS.
