Saswath Dham :Two million devotees have visited the Eternal Dham in Dumkauli of Nawalparasi. According to the shrine management, 2 million devotees and religious tourists have reached the eternal abode in the last 20 months. The government has already given the award to Shaswat Dham as a ‘West Tourist Destination’. Eternal Dham has become the most popular destination in Nepal in recent times.

The Saswath Dham is crowded with domestic and foreign tourists. Madhusudhan Poudel, general manager of Chaudhary Group, informed that 76-year-old Lokalakshmi Acharya of Hetauda Municipality Ward No. 4 Parijat Pathak entered Shaswat Dham on December 7 at 11 am. Lokalakshmi Acharya, 76, of Parijat Pathak, Ward No. 4, Hetauda Municipality, is entering the eternal abode as the 2nd million visitors.

Poudel informed that Acharya was honored by the management with a special vision and circumambulation of Saswath Dham. Visitors who reached Saswath Dham with him on Friday were welcomed with Panchewaja, Swasti Vachan and Bhajan Kirtan. “This is an unforgettable moment in my life,” said Acharya. “I heard about the importance of eternal home.” The honor I received today in this temple of God will remain in my heart forever. ‘

Binod Chaudhary, an industrialist and the only dollar billionaire in Nepal, has built this sanctuary along with CGIP on the East-West Highway after nearly a decade and a half. Chaudhary informed that the eternal abode has been built to promote Nepali art, culture and Sanatan Dharma. He said that another important goal is to contribute to Nepal’s tourism industry by attracting internal and external tourists through Saswath Dham.

“We want to welcome as many visitors and tourists as possible to the Eternal Dham,” said Binod Chaudhary, Chairman of the Chaudhary Group and Founder Trustee of the Eternal Dham. “Respecting the sentiments of all Nepalis who believe in the eternal religion, we are committed to expanding our heritage at the Eternal Dham.” Chairman Chaudhary also expressed confidence that Saswath Dham would be one of the most attractive destinations in Nepal for domestic and foreign tourists.

Only a few days ago, a Buddha Chaitya and a Buddhist Center have been established in Saswath Dham. There is a museum that reflects the history of Buddhism. Earlier, a religious museum was set up here to provide detailed information about Hinduism. Shaswat Dham has also been developed as a research center of Sanatan Dharma.

His father Lunkarandas Chaudhary passed away in B.Sc. Binod Chaudhary, who laid the foundation stone of the eternal sanctuary in February, 2059 BS. It was completed in the month of February, 2073 BS. Among the religious leaders of different religions, personalities from different fields and the founder of the Art of Living, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar had inaugurated the Ekmavareshwar Shiva Temple on March 7, 2073 BS.

The Eternal Dham was inaugurated by President Vidyadevi Bhandari on the same day. Adjacent to the holy Devghat and Lumbini area, the charming and magnificent Ekamvareshwar Shiva Temple is the main attraction here. Due to the greenery and water fountain all around, this temple feels like standing in the water at night. There is a large Shivalinga inside the Ekambareshwar temple.

There are many idols of Hindu gods and goddesses including Parvati, Ganesh, Hanuman, Surya Narayan, Navagraha, Sati Devi near the Ekambareshwar temple. In front of the temple, a statue of Lunkarandas Chaudhary with a gesture of devotion to Shiva has also been erected. Anyone who arrives here can have an exciting experience by observing the Akhand Agnikund, Yagya Kund, Shaktighat, Gaushala, Dharamsala, Digital Religious Museum etc. inside the Dham.

The organic farms, organic restaurants, yoga and meditation centers with residential facilities etc. can be fully utilized here so that anyone who visits this enchanting place can get relief from fatigue and stress and feel spiritual peace. The Gurukul established here on the suggestion of Shankaracharya to preserve the importance of Sanatan Dharma, which is disappearing in the modern materialistic age, and to perform daily worship and Vedic rituals in the temple, has now become a place for studying Vedic rituals.
