अङ्क दिने चार आधार

• Fluency and Coherence: नरोकिई, क्रमैसँग बोल्ने।
• Lexical Resource: विषयअनुसार शब्दको प्रयोग।
• Grammatical Range and Accuracy: विभिन्न वाक्य संरचना, कम गल्ती।
• Pronunciation: सुन्नेले सजिलै बुझ्ने उच्चारण। विदेशी accent हुनु समस्या होइन।

Describe a teacher who has influenced you.
You should say: who this teacher was, what subject they taught, what they were like, and explain why this teacher influenced you.

नमुना उत्तर

I’d like to talk about Mr Sharma, who taught me science in grades nine and ten at my school in Pokhara. To be honest, before his classes I found science quite boring, because it felt like memorising facts.

What made him different was the way he connected lessons to everyday life. For example, when we studied chemical reactions, he brought baking soda and vinegar to class and asked us to explain what was happening in our own kitchens. He was also very patient and had a good sense of humour, so nobody was afraid to ask questions.

The main reason he influenced me happened after I failed a mid-term test. Instead of criticising me, he stayed after school twice a week to go through the topics I didn’t understand. By the final exam I was one of the top students in the class. That experience gave me a lot of confidence, and it’s actually the reason I want to study engineering now.

सामान्य गल्ती

• ३०–४० सेकेन्डमै रोकिनु। कथा र उदाहरणले समय भर्नुहोस्।
• याद गरेको उत्तर बोल्नु। स्वाभाविक बोल्नुहोस्।
• cue card का बुँदा छोड्नु, खास गरी “explain why”।
• धेरै छिटो बोल्नु। स्पष्टता गतिभन्दा महत्त्वपूर्ण छ।

घरमै अभ्यास

मोबाइलमा १ मिनेटको टाइमर राखेर नोट बनाउनुहोस्, अनि २ मिनेट बोलेर आफ्नै आवाज रेकर्ड गर्नुहोस्। सुनेर कहाँ अड्किनुभयो र कुन शब्द दोहोरियो, टिपोट गर्नुहोस्।
