Limi Journey : If you want to see the natural beauty and culture, Namkha village of Humla is a model place to choose from. Every year, Namkha Municipality organizes various programs to promote tourism. As usual, this year we went there to see the festival of Namkha village and to see the nature there like last few years. The journey continued by looking at various beautiful settlements along the way.
In the same way, the beautiful waterfall had inspired the tiredness of the journey to move forward. During the festival organized by Namkha village municipality, we observed various cultural programs for two days. On the third day, a group of us headed for the famous Lapcha Valley in the Limi Valley. Together with the locals of Limi, we took a tripper from Yalwang to Salli. Limi journey
Especially watching the video from Limi’s Lapcha Bhanjyang is a good place to visit Mansarovar. The intention was to visit. Accordingly, we proceeded by observing the scenery of various lakes, waterfalls and the path of Bhanjyang. Domestic and foreign tourists visiting Namkha also enjoy this. After eating in Salli, we proceeded to see the beautiful place in the Limi Valley.
The journey continued after a short stay at Nassing Khark at an altitude of 3,438 meters. The sight of animals grazing in Nyasingh Kharka was no less captivating. The sight of the shadows all around, leaving the glacier and flowing downhill, was leaving a deep impression on the mind. The hustle and bustle of the tripper’s journey on the uphill journey along with the greenery of Buki grass, returning to Limi Valley and Lapcha Valley, no matter how painful it was, and taking beautiful pictures and videos, was the only thing that made me happy. The sight of Limi in the camera and in the twinkling of an eye was so unmistakable that perhaps before that I was proud to be in Humli, a beautiful place in the world created by nature. Horses, buffaloes, zombies and other groups of animals were scattered in the grazing area. Namkha village used to look like a protected area not declared by a government due to the sight of wild animals grazing on the road. Every heritage seen in this area was healing the mind.Limi journey
Nyalu Lake is considered to be the highest altitude and difficult to trek here. Its height is 4,580 meters. From here, one can see the breathtaking view of the Limi Valley and the mountains at Siran and Godatir add to the beauty. Selina Lake, just below, is another place worth seeing at 4,560 meters. It was a beautiful sight to behold. In some places, the waterfalls around the Chongsa River were flowing like white hairs of glaciers and glaciers.
The focus of the passenger with me was on taking photos and videos until Dhit died and taking selfies. The higher we went, the more the lakes and waterfalls welcomed us. The grassy field of Buki could also be seen in various shapes like tall, low and ditches. Nyalu Lake which has an altitude of 5 thousand 5 meters. As you can see, as soon as you get there, you are greeted by the Limi Valley. Waves of glaciers and glaciers, shadows scattered everywhere, flowing wherever you like. A homestay in Tughling, about 50 meters from the glacier, is a sight to behold. And let’s not talk about Limi’s Cisno, which is found in the highlands of Lekali. Very tasty organic greens, which do not need to be cultivated, are picked, brought and cooked and eaten easily. Natural greens, no need to cultivate. The taste of beer and juice brought from China is also said to be less sweet at that height. I have seen the possibility that those who are not interested in food will get fat if they go there. This is one of the most enjoyable scenes in the morning. The sight of herds of buffaloes grazing in various colors and shapes everywhere looks magnificent.
After climbing to an altitude of about 1000 meters and going to Lapcha via Kuigunga and Chhulampa, you can see the view of the glaciers, the lake and the herds of Naur herds grazing all along the road. The sight of a river without a sound (as far as the river is concerned) is still flowing, and the blue of the lake is still fresh in my mind. We were on our way to Lapcha. We also invited priests from Zhang, one of Limi’s three villages, to visit. The priest had planned to perform puja along with the Mansarovar Kailash Darshan from Lapcha. Our vehicle was moving forward on the road. When we reached Lapcha after a journey of 3 hours, we saw Mansarovar and Kailash in front of our eyes.
If we can improve the roads in the area for the Mansarovar Kailash Darshan, which is at a lower altitude than the Nepali territory, the number of tourists will increase. What is believed is that it can be seen more clearly after worship. Especially in the months of Asauj and Kartik, it is considered to be a very auspicious time for visiting. It would not be possible to see it well as it would be covered with clouds and fog. Village Municipality Chairman Bishnu Lama said that the municipality has allocated budget this year for the construction of a view tower and a shelter for visitors in Lapcha.
He said that it was the responsibility of the village municipality to create a conducive environment for internal and external tourists in the coming days by spreading its propaganda. I don’t have to say how sacred the philosophy of Mansarovar and Kailash is, especially for Hindu pilgrims. Even though tens of thousands of pilgrims are currently traveling from Hilsa Naka of Namkha village via Taklakot route to China, the current destination is Limi. Limi journey
