At the end of the age, when the messengers entered the cave to take their lives. The messengers who came to pick him up could not enter the cave. They had been waiting at the door for a long time. After Shweta came out, Yamadutas tried to take him to Yamalok by force.

At the same time, Shiva’s vehicle Bhairav attacked Yamaduta Mutyudev and killed him. When the time was running out and his messengers and white monks did not come, Yamaraj asked Chitragupta the reason. After Chitragupta told him about Bhairav’s attack, Yamaraj himself went to take Shweta Muni. When he reached the cave below Shweta, Shiva’s army was also there. Legend has it that Shiv Sena Kartikeya dropped his weapon of power and killed Yamaraj after Yamaraj tried to take him away by force.

Then the messengers went and told the sun. Upon hearing the news of his son’s death, Lord Surya, Brahma and the gods along with Yamaraj’s army came to the place of death There the gods began to praise Lord Shankara. There is a classical belief that Lord Shiva appeared at that time.

The gods then said to Lord Shiva, ‘O Lord! Yamaraj is the son of Surya. He is the Lokpal. You appointed him overseer of the religious law. It is not right to kill him like this. Without them the work of creation would be impossible. So keep them alive with the army, otherwise chaos will spread. ‘ Lord Shankar said- ‘I am also in favor of this system. But, the person who is a devotee of me and Lord Vishnu. Yamaraj has no right to his death. ‘It is believed that Lord Shiva obeyed the gods and gave his life to Yamaraj.

At Shiva’s command, Nandishwar brought water from the Gautami river and sprinkled it on Yamaraj and his messengers. Who made everyone alive After Yamaraj was alive, Yamaraj said to the white sage, “You have conquered me, invincible in the whole world. Give me protection from Lord Shiva. ‘
