How it works

Your IP address is read by the NotesNepal server from your connection. It is shown to you and not stored.

In Nepal most mobile and home internet users share a public IP with many other customers (carrier-grade NAT), so this address usually belongs to your internet provider rather than only your device. A VPN shows the VPN's address instead.

Frequently asked questions

Can someone find my house from my IP?

No. An IP shows your internet provider and a rough area, not your address.

Why is it different on Wi-Fi and mobile data?

Each network gives you a different public address.
