The ancestors of Ghandruk came from Sikles, Gorkha and Lamjung, bordering Annapurna Himal in the north, Modikhola in the east, Sardhikhola in the south, and Myagdi district in the west. Meshramwarah, Toujivarah, Pose Nebwarah, Kotdanda, Gumba and Nyovarah lakes are also attracting tourists.
