Langtang is an area in the Rasuwa district west of Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, connected to Tibet. Tourists visiting Langtang can see and do many things in one trip. This is the reason why foreign tourists flock to it.
Tourists to Langtang climb Cherkori, Kanjin Ri, Langsisa, Langtang Glacier and Yala Peak. As a dozen mountains can be seen from the 5,000-meter-high Cherkori, 85 percent of the tourists who reach Kanjin go there. According to the English calendar, September, October and November are the tourist seasons. Due to the clear weather, there is a large presence of tourists on the footpath.
In the Langtang area, there are Gosainkunda Lake on the south and Kanjing Gumba on the north. Trishuli and Gosainkunda, including Kanjing, are sacred places of Nepali tradition. Hiking in the Langtang region begins at Rasuwa Dhunche or Syafrubesi.
Dhunche can also be reached from Sundarijal and Chisapani of Kathmandu Valley to the east via Helambu, Laurivinayak and Gosainkunda. Similarly, Ganja-la can be crossed from Kanjing region to the south and Langshisha glacier to the east.
Even further east are Dorje Lakpa, Jugal and Phurbi Gachu Himal. These mountains can also be seen from Kathmandu during the open season. Below these are the Dorje
Lakpa and Jugal glaciers.

Today, tourists can be seen all the way from Syafrubensi to Kangjin. About 60 to 70 foreign tourists visit Langtang daily. Hoteliers are now ready to provide services to tourists. Canjin is a two-day trek from Syafruh.
On the first day, tourists reach Lama Hotel from Syafruh via Domen, Pahiro, Bambu, Rimiche to stay at Lama Hotel. The next morning, after lunch, you reach there Y via Riverside, Udland, Ghoda Tabela Thangsab, Gumbadanda. Some tourists stay there and some reach Kangjin via Mundu, Sindum.
Tourism in this region was severely damaged by the earthquake on April 29, 2008. The beautiful tourist area of it has now reached its old condition with the reconstruction.
Langtang is considered to be the third tourist footpath in Nepal.
It is 7,234 meters high, had never been officially climbed by any group or individual before. Residents of Nuwakot and Rasuwa have said that the government’s permission to climb Langtang Lirung in Kanjin of Gosainkunda Gaonpalika-4 of Rasuwa will help in tourism development.
The number of people going to it , known as the third destination of Nepal, is increasing. There are more than a dozen mountains around it and Kanjin.
Most of the mountains there are named after the Tibetan language. According to the locals, the name is based on the structure, characteristics and non-existence of the mountain . Fog does not rise on the ground, the mountains are open all day long, and in the high places you can see white snow and green slopes, various species of birds, Asmiz monkeys and other animals.
If you feel tired and hungry while traveling, you can find hotels to stay and eat in places. You can reach Gosainkunda from Dhunche and Sundarijal of Kathmandu via Helambu from both sides.Tourists traveling from Sundarijal to Gosainkund can reach Langtang, Sherpa Village Wriddhim, Thuman, Nakthali, Gatlang Parbatikund, Goljung, Syafrubensi via Laurivinayak, Cholangpati, Thulosyaphru, Lama Hotel and return to Kathmandu by bus.
