Eklavya is a famous character in the Mahabharata who cut off his thumb and referred to him as Gurudakshina. There are many things about him in various Puranas. Some call Eklavya the son of a hunter, while others call him the son of a villain. Some have said that Guru Dronacharya refused to give education because he was single-minded. While these things are wrong.

Eklavya was neither Bhil, nor Shudra, nor Adivasi. He was of Nishad caste. A caste called Nishad is still found today. It is noteworthy that Satyavati, the grandmother of Dhritarashtra, Pandu and Vidura, was also a Nishad Kanya. Vedavyasa, the author of the Mahabharata, was also Satyavati’s son. Satyavati married King Shantanu and had two sons named Chitrang and Vichitravirya. Satyavati’s son Vichitravirya’s wives were born Dhritarashtra from Ambika and Pandu from Ambalika. Apart from Dhritarashtra and Pandu, a slave boy Bidur was also born from Vedavyasa’s mission.

Eklavya

Who is Eklavya?

Eklavya Nishadraj was the son of Hiranyadhanu. During the Mahabharata period, the kingdom of Sringwerpur, which was spread over the coastal region of Prayag (Allahabad), belonged to Nishadraj Hiranyadhanu Sringwerpur, situated on the banks of the Ganges, was the stronghold of the state. According to another belief, Eklavya was the son of Lord Krishna’s uncle. Which he had given to Nishadraj Hiranyadhanu. In any case, Drona Bhakt Eklavya was the son of Nishadraj Hiranyadhanu. His mother’s name was Sulekha.

At that time, the power of Sringwerpur state was similar to that of Magadha, Hastinapur, Mathura, Chedi and Chanderi. The heroism of Nishadraj Hiranyadhanu and his general Girivir was famous. Hiranyadhanu Anna Amatya (Minister) ran the state with the help of the council.

How did Eklavya become perfect in archery?

Initially, Eklavya’s name was Abhidyumna. He was called Abhay. Eklavya’s education started when he was five years old. According to the then system, his education started in Kuliya Gurukul. In that gurukula, people of all castes and upper classes of the society studied.

Eklavya was a prince. His father Hiranyadhanu was revered by the Kauravas, i.e. he had a reputation in Hastinapur. Seeing the child’s rhythm, dedication and devotion to weapons from childhood, the teacher named the child ‘Eklavya’. When Eklavya was young, Hiranyadhanu had married Eklavya to Sunita, the daughter of a Nishad friend.

Why was Eklavya refused to be educated?

Once, Pulak Muni, seeing Eklavya’s self-confidence and dedication to learning bow and arrow, said to Nishadraj Hiranyadhanu, ‘O Nishadraj! Your son has the potential to be an excellent archer, so it’s best to try to get him right. ‘

Influenced by the story below, King Hiranyadhanu takes his son Eklavya to the great Guru Drona. But Guru Drona could only teach archery to the children of Kurukula and the royal court because he was committed to Bhishma. Therefore, he refused to teach Eklavya.

Eklavya

Archery by considering Drona’s idol as a guru

Later, He considered Drona as his teacher and started practicing archery by making him his idol. He also became proficient in this science. He became the most skilled archer of any of Drona’s disciples. Dronacharya, who had cut off Eklavya’s thumb to make Arjuna great, later had to fight against the same Arjuna.

Eklavya became the cause of the murder of Arjuna’s son and also died at the hands of Arjuna’s brother.

Eklavya had a son named Ketuman. After Eklavya’s victory in the war, Ketuman ascended the throne. In the Mahabharata war, Ketuman fought on the side of the Kauravas. In that battle, Ketuman was killed by Bhimsen.

Brahmastra

Meaning:

After leaving Brahmastra, a terrible wind began to rise. Millennials began to fall from the sky. There was a terrible fear of ghosts. A loud noise exploded in the sky. The sky began to burn. The earth trembled with mountains and trees.

Who made Brahmastra?

As described in the Vedas-Puranas, etc., Lord Bumha, the father of the world, had made Bumhastra for the purpose of destroying the demon. It means the weapon of Brahma.

People got weapons

In the beginning, Brahmastra was with the gods and goddesses. Each deity had a weapon according to their characteristics. The deity was the first to give such a weapon to Gandhav. The man later received the weapon.

How many times has Brahmastra been used?

Bramhastra is sometimes used in mythology. In the Ramayana, when Lakshmana wanted to use this weapon to fight Meghnad, Shriram did not allow him to use it. The whole of Lanka would be destroyed if the weapon was used. However, later in the war between Rama and Ravan, Brahmastra was used. After this, in the Mahabharata war, Ashvatthama used Brahmastra.

Who had this weapon?

In the Ramayana and Mahabharata periods, this weapon was in the possession of countless warriors. While in the Ramayana period Vibhishan and Lakshmana had this weapon, in the Mahabharata period it was with Dronacharya, Ashvatthama, Krishna, Kuvalashva, Yudhisthira, Karna, Pradyumna and Arjuna. Arjuna got this weapon from Drona.

The cataclysm was caused by Brahmastra

Brahmastra was used a few times. It is believed that the cataclysm occurred when two of them collided with each other. It was the fear of the end of the whole earth. In the Mahabharata, chapters 13 to 15 of the Sauptik festival are said to be the result of Brahmastra.

The result of Brahmastra

Maharshi Vedavyas has written that where it was left, there was no origin of rain, animals, trees and plants for 12 years. According to the Mahabharata, a woman living in a village had a miscarriage due to this weapon.

Brahmastra

Was it like an atomic bomb?

It is estimated that the Brahmastra used in the Mahabharata was similar to the atomic bomb. Dr. Padyamkar Vishnu Vartak has written a book ‘Swayambhu’, in which research has been done on the destructive power of Bumhastra.

Was the Indus Valley Civilization Destroyed by Brahmastra?

Research on the Indus Valley Civilization (Mohan Joddo, Harappa, etc.) found such a city, which existed around 5000 to 7000 BC. What can be seen from the condition of the skeletons found in this city is that they were killed by an accidental attack. Evidence has also been found that at some point a terrible heat was generated here. Studies of the skeletons show that they were exposed to radiation.

He was also in the time of Rama and also in the time of Krishna. He gave Sudarshan Chakra to Lord Krishna. It is said that Parashuram will come again at the end of Kali. According to belief, he will be penitent on earth till the end of time. According to the mythology, Mahendra Parbat is the place of penance of Parashuram and he is doing penance there now.

Parashuram is a disciple of Shiva. Once in Satya Yuga, he went to Kailash to meet his guru Shiva. Ganesh stopped him there. There was a war between them. Parashuram attacked Ganesh with an ax (bancharo) received from Shiva. From that, one of Ganesh’s teeth was cut and from that time onwards, Ganesh was called Ekdant.

Parashuram seems to have been more intensely present in the Dwapar era. He not only provided Sudarshan Chakra to Lord Krishna, but also supported Krishna in the Kaurava Sabha. The chief warriors of the Dwapar era were disciples of Bhishma, Dronacharya and Karna Parashuram. Angered that Karna had learned from him by telling lies, he cursed Karna to forget all the knowledge he had learned during the war.

Mahabharat Bhim, The name of the second son of the five brothers of the Pandavas is Bhim. It is said that Bhim had the strength of ten thousand elephants. He was also skilled in war. Once he stopped the flow of Narmada with his hand.

Bhim is also called Pawanputra. Bhim’s son Ghatolkach was even more powerful than Bhim. Ghatalkach’s son Barbarik was the greatest. Bhim had killed various powerful people alone in his life. Which are as follows.

Mahabharat Bhim
Mahabharat Bhim

Jarasandha

It was impossible to kill the most powerful emperor Magadharaj Jarasandha. He was Kansha’s father-in-law. He had the gift of being reconnected even if someone cut him in two. A fierce battle took place on the plains of Bhim and Jarasandha. Bhima broke Jarasandha in two several times, but he reconnected and started fighting with Bhim. Bhim was tired of the long war.

On the 14th day of the battle, Lord Krishna broke a stick in the middle and threw both its parts in opposite directions. In Mahabharat Bhim understood Lord Krishna’s gesture and he did so.

The war Kaurau
Mahabharat Bhim

He tore the root in the middle and threw the two parts in opposite directions to each other. In this way, he put an end to the root cause. Because it was thrown in two opposite directions, the two torn pieces could not be connected.

Slaughter of Hidimb

One day five Pandavas were sleeping in the forest. The monster Hidimb was terrified in the forest. He asked his daughter Hidimb to bring him some human flesh. Hidimb went to the forest. There she saw Bhim. She was fascinated by Bhim and thought of marrying him. She disguised herself and presented herself to Bhim.

Mahabharat Bhim

At the same time, his father Hidimb arrived there. Seeing Bhima’s huge body, Hidimb asked his daughter, “Do you want to eat such a strong man alone?” Hidimb started attacking Bhima.

Hidimb joined Bhim to attack. There was a terrible battle between Bhim and Hidimb. In the end, Hidimb was killed.

Kichak slaughter

Bhima had killed King Kichak of the Matsya dynasty. Because he had abused Draupadi. During his exile, five Pandava fishes lived in the capital of King Virat, Biratnagar, with Kank, Ballav, Brihannala, Tantipal and Granthik and Rerandhri. King Virat’s brother-in-law Kichchak had come there to visit his sister Sudeshna. When his eyes fell on Draupadi, then he became a work-victim and he started looking for an opportunity to meet Draupadi in private.

Mahabharat Bhim

When Draupadi told that to Bhima, Bhima came up with a solution. Bhima said to Draupadi, “Give the message that you will meet that evil Kichkak in the dance hall at midnight. I will go and sit in your place in the dance hall, when he comes near me as you, and I will kill him. ‘Bhim did so and Kichak was killed.

Slaughter of Dushashan

To avenge Draupadi’s dismemberment, Bhima tore the chest of Dusshasan during the war and drank his blood. Out of 100 Kauravas, 97 were killed by Bhim alone. Apart from this, Bhimas also killed Durmasan, the son of Dusshasan who killed Abhimanyu. Karna’s nine sons were also killed by Bhim, Arjuna and Nakul-Sahadeva. Bhima also fought with Kalinga and Nishads and he killed all of them.

Duryodhana’s Slaughter

After the battle of Mahabharata, Duryodhana went somewhere and hid. The Pandavas met him, then there was a battle between Duryodhana and Bhima. Balaram was also present to watch the battle. Bhima could not kill Duryodhana even when he used various devices to kill him, because Duryodhana’s body was as hard as a thunderbolt. At that time, Lord Krishna touched his thigh and signaled to Bhima, which Bhima understood.

Killing Duryodhan

Then Bhim hit Duryodhana’s thigh and in the end he pulled Duryodhana’s thigh and threw it. Duryodhana fought on the battlefield covered in blood and later died.

The Bible is the largest religious text of the Christian religion, the Koran is the largest religious text of the Muslim religion. Similarly, the Veda is the greatest religious text of the Hindu religion. There are four Vedas, Rig Veda, Sama Veda, Yajurveda and Artharva Veda. The conclusion of these four Vedas is the Upanishads. 18 Puranas have been composed from the Upanishads. The conclusion of all the Vedas, Upanishads and Puranas is the Gita. The Gita is written in chapter 18 of the religious book. When Arjuna was ignorant that he would not fight the Mahabharata, Krishnaji recited the Gita for the attainment of good knowledge. However, since Arjuna was not satisfied, Lord Krishna gave Arjuna a vision of the world and gave him clear knowledge. Arjuna is prepared to fight the Mahabharata. Thus Nishkamana originated in Arjuna.

All this knowledge is meditated on by God in chapter 18 of the Gita. The same 18 chapters are the rules of the main important religion of Hinduism. In summary of these 18 chapters, we need to understand God’s 18 divine commandments.Divine law is God’s command that we human beings should follow the 18 rules and dedicate ourselves to crossing the ocean to live our lives.

So we call the Gita 18 Commandments. For example, Christians call the Bible the Ten Commandments.

18 Summary of Chapter 18

  • Not to fall under the spell of lust or happiness.
  • Performing one’s duty considering the body perishable and the soul indestructible.
  • To perform one’s duty without any emotion.
  • Doing deeds selflessly by experiencing elemental knowledge
  • To always be in Titiksha, that is, to have the same feeling in happiness and sorrow.
  • To maintain equality in conscience
  • Acknowledging that everything is God.
  • Always remembering God and doing your duty.
  • Remember that all human beings are entitled to attain Bhagavat.
  • To think of God as a part of God, eccentricity, specialty, beauty, greatness, strength of knowledge, etc.
  • To consider this bird world as the form of God and to see the great form of God, that is, to say that the world is God, God is the world.
  • To dedicate oneself to God with body, senses, mind and intellect.

Lord Krishna

Lord Krishna is most praised god in Hinduism and all over the world whose main duty is to provide enlightenment to the people who are lost and involved in the wrong deeds.  Krishna is understood by many people in many ways. Even if Krishna is seen only as a character in history or as a character in the Mahabharata epic, Krishna is a powerful character with amazing abilities.

The events of his life from his birth to Mahapari Nirvana (death) are full of sorrow. But, even Krishna is always calm and happy. Whether as a child or as a lover or as a politician, Krishna is trying to connect the person with spirituality in every role.He has always tried to free every character and persons from worldly lust, love and delusion.

Lord Krishna wanted to bring spirituality into a mainstream of life by combining the political process and the spiritual process. He wanted to connect all the rulers with spirituality. They were always calm and happy even in the face of such a catastrophe. Were accustomed to meditation. But, on this special day, let’s try to understand Krishna not just as a character but as an eternal element. For a living soul trying to walk on the spiritual path, understanding Krishna from this stream will be of great benefit. The incarnation of Lord Krishna in the Dwapar era five thousand years ago and its discussion has been going on in many contexts for ages.

Lord Krishna

Its basis is Sanatan Shastras including Mahabharata, Shrimad Bhagwat Gita and other Vedas, Upanishads. Through which people are discussing Lord Krishna in many ways. The Bhagavad Gita is a sermon on philosophy given by Lord Krishna to Arjuna before the Mahabharata war. The essence of the entire Vedas and Upanishads is also found in it. Let us try to know the Krishna element on the basis of the verses of the Bhagavad Gita.Spirit is the element that makes one infinitely greater and others infinitely greater. Spirit has eternal power, the same power makes it eternal. According to Jagadguru Kripalu ji Maharaj, “Spirit is the beginning of divine realization. The same spirit is not obtained from discourse, nor is it obtained by applying wisdom, nor is it obtained by listening to the scriptures and the Vedas more. God gives power to one who surrenders to the formless spirit and takes refuge in it, and only he can know the spirit.

The Form of Lord :

Lord Krishna Form

That Spirit is only one power of Lord Krishna. The element contained in Lord Krishna is Spirit. There is Paramatma in the middle or secondary level above the formless Brahman. Both the formless spirit and the divine are within the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Therefore, Lord Krishna is more powerful than the formless Spirit and Spirit. The twenty-seventh verse of the fourteenth chapter of the Bhagavad Gita states:

“ब्रह्मणो हि प्रतिष्ठाहममृतस्याव्ययस्य च ।

शाश्वतस्य च धर्मस्य सुखस्यैकान्तिकस्य च ।।”

Meaning : I am also the basis of the formless Spirit as the natural state of immortality, indestructibility, eternity and bliss.

So Brahma is a part of Krishna. Gauranga Mahaprabhu has said, “What man calls Paramabrahma is the light of Krishna’s body.” Lord Krishna is also the power that possesses the power of Para (that can be passed) and Apara(that cannot be passed). Lord Krishna is above Para and Apara Shakti. To confirm this, let us look at the verses of the seventh chapter of the Bhagavad Gita:

“भूमिरापोअनलो वायुः खं मनो बुद्धिरेव च ।

अहंकार इतीयं मे भिन्ना प्रकृतिरष्टधा ।।४।।”

Meaning :  Earth, water, fire, air, sky, mind, intellect and ego are these eight different physical powers (nature) of mine(Lord)

“अपरेयमितस्त्वन्यां प्रकृतिं विद्धि मे पराम् ।

जीवभूतां महाबाहो ययेदं धार्यते जगत् ।। ५ ।।”

Meaning :I have a transcendental power, which includes the living beings who consume the means of material or transcendental power.

It is clearly stated here that living beings fall under the supernatural power of God. Apara Shakti manifests as various elements like earth, water, fire, air, sky, mind, intellect and ego. Both these forms of material nature, gross (earth, etc.) and subtle-mind, etc., are also the result of supernatural power. The living beings who are consuming the supernatural power for the fulfillment of their various needs are the supernatural power of God Himself and due to this power the whole world is active.

The power to act in this visible world does not come unless it is made dynamic by a superpower. The powerful are always controlling the power. Therefore, living beings are always controlled by God. Organisms have no independent existence of their own. They can never be equally powerful.

“एतद्योनीति भूतानि सर्वाणीत्युपधारय ।

अहं कृत्स्नस्य जगतः प्रभवः प्रलयस्तथा ।। ६ ।।”

Meaning:These two powers or natures are the source of origin of all beings. To know that I am the cause of all materialism and spirituality in this world and its origin and doomsday.

Lord Krishna

In the twentieth verse of the tenth chapter of the Bhagavad Gita, Krishna says:

“अहमात्मा गुणाकेश सर्वभूताशयस्थितः ।

अहमादिश्च मध्य) च भूतानामन्त एव च ।। २० ।।”

Meaning: I am the Paramatma(Lord) who resides in the heart of all living beings and I am also the beginning, life form and end of all living beings.

“दिवि सूर्यसहस्रस्य भवेद्युगपदुत्थिता ।

यदि भाः सदृशी सा स्याद्भासस्तस्य महात्मनः ।। १२ ।।”

Meaning:If thousands of suns rose in the sky at once, the radiance of his light was as bright as the light of the cosmic God.

“तत्रैकस्थं जगत्कृत्स्नं प्रविभक्तमनेकधा ।

अपश्यद्देवदेवस्य शरीरे पाण्डवस्तदा ।। १३ ।।”

Meaning : At that time, Arjuna saw in one place the infinite expansion of the universe, which is divided into thousands and thousands of parts in the form of God.

Lord Krishna

Origin Of the Divine Power (Lord Krishna : The Incarnation)

In the world of such divine power, incarnation takes place after many years. According to the Vedas, the incarnation of Lord Krishna occurs once in an epoch. When the four ages of 4.32 billion years are completed 71 times, there is one Manavantar, that is, one Manavantar equal to 306.62 million years. Such 14 manavantara equals one day of Brahma, hence it is called kalpa. According to a day of 4.32 billion years and a day and night of 8.64 billion, the age of Brahma is 100 years with 365 days which counts (1 day = 8.64 billion years).

We celebrate the same incarnation of Lord Krishna as Krishna Janmashtami, which took place five thousand years ago. The rest of the incarnations of God are in every Dhapar which is called Yugavatar. Yugavatar is an incarnation of Lord Krishna. In that incarnation of Lord Krishna, Yugavatar Krishna was included. Therefore, the two roles of Lord Krishna can be seen together. One Lord Krishna is eternally loving, meditative, devotional time.

Lord Krishna’s Character :

The role of Bhakrishna is multi-dimensional and difficult to understand. Yugavatar Krishna is also a part of the God who has eternal power. Many lilas (deeds) of Yugavatar are beyond our intellect in itself. Therefore, Krishna cannot be understood as an ordinary person just by looking at him as a character.

Every creature is a part of God, Lord Krishna is called Sachchinananda. Being a part of Sachchinananda, all beings are looking for happiness, that is, they are looking for God. So no one in this creation can be an atheist. This is the reason why people are not satisfied no matter how materially prosperous they are. Every creature is in search of happiness. After attaining enlightenment, the living being is not saddened by the suffering that arises when traveling through the physical body.Because even those who claim to be atheists are seeking God (bliss). Every creature has eternal love for each other. But, under the influence of living love, it is not possible to recognize that love by delusion.

Human beings are born to recognize that love. Therefore, human beings can manifest the ability to love many beings forever. Lord Krishna has incarnated to realize the same ability. That is why Lord Krishna is also called Premavatar.Krishna has imparted the same divine knowledge through love and gossip with Gopini. Gopinis, who are confused by physical attraction, have been given the power to know the eternal element by providing loving devotion.

Lord Krishna

This is proved by the fact that many Krishnas of the same Krishna appeared in Rasalila. Every gopini found that the spirit was manifested in her through loving devotion. Rasalila has revealed the secret that Gopini received the elemental knowledge that I am a part of Lord Krishna. Some fools try to interpret Lord Krishna’s Rasalila as an immoral relationship. It is nothing more than the illusion of the confused physical eye. ‘अहम् ब्रह्मास्मी’ ,That is to say, the Gita sermon that gives the feeling of knowledge that I am the Spirit is invaluable to all human beings. But the fact that Krishna is higher than Brahman has been confirmed on the basis of the verses of the Gita.

For us, the Bhagavad Gita is the greatest gift of Lord Krishna incarnation. Due to all the reasons to go on the path of devotion for the divine realization of God, the day of Shrikrishna Janmashtami is special, so everyone should pay attention to the path of opening the divine eye.

Jai Shrikrishna.

Mahabharat War

The Mahabharat contains many events, relationships and mysteries of epistemology. Every character in the Mahabharat is alive whether they are Kauravas or Pandavas, Karna or Krishna, Dhrishtadyumna, Shalya, Shikhandi or Kripacharya.

The Mahabharat  is not limited to the sagas of warriors. Even the secrets of curses, promises and blessings are hidden in the Mahabharat. Let’s see, what are such secrets? All the major warriors of the Mahabharat were incarnations of one or the other. Every warrior was strangely powerful. Whether male or female, all the characters were full of strange features. It is said that some of the warriors of the Mahabharat are still alive today. The birth of the Kauravas is also full of mysteries. Kauravas and Pandavas were neither descendants of Dhritarashtra nor Pandu.

The mystery of the great warrior barbaric and Ghatotkach is no less unique.

The relationship between the characters of the Mahabharata is also found to be very surprisingly jelly. This war was a war of relatives. The Mahabharat war was also the reason for fighting in Kurukshetra. Many incidents in the Mahabharata were due to some kind of curse. In the battle of Mahabharat, certain rules were made, when the Kauravas broke the rules by killing Abhimanyu, then the chain continued and the Pandava side took more advantage of it. A few days after the end of the war, all the warriors were alive for one night.A few years after the end of the Battle of Kurukshetra, a war broke out to destroy the Yadav clan.

Amazing Secret

The biggest mystery is where the bodies of the millions of people killed in the war have reached or what has happened. It is said that due to the Mahabharata war, so much blood was shed in Kurukshetra that the color of the soil there is still red. Surprisingly, not even the remains of millions of warriors were found in the blood-soaked war. It is said that on the day when most of the warriors died, their bodies were handed over to their relatives while the rest remained there. At the end of the war, not a single corpse was cremated on the land of Kurukshetra on the orders of Yudhisthira.

Another secret is that every day millions of people are fed in a camp near the battlefield. On the first day of the war, food was prepared for 18 Akshaini, or more than 4.5 million people. From then on, less food was prepared in proportion to the number of warriors killed each day, and there was never too much or too little food. But the amazing thing is, how did you know how many people had to cook today? It is said that in the war, food was provided by the king of Udupi, who used to feed Lord Krishna every evening. He knew how many warriors would die the next day by watching Lord Krishna eat during the meal. To show this, Lord Krishna used to eat boiled almonds or rice every day. On that basis, the king would find out how many people needed to prepare food. Thus, because of Lord Krishna, the soldiers could eat a lot every day and not a single grain of grain was wasted.

Another secret is that in this age the kings of Satyayuga Muchukunda, Indra etc., Parasurama of Tretayuga, Jammavanta and Hanuman etc. were alive. Lord Shiva and Brahma were also present, while Lord Krishna himself became an incarnation of Vishnu.

Mahabharat War

The Mahabharata was written without Taking A Break

The Mahabharata was composed by Mahshir Vedavyas and written by Lord Sriganesha. Lord Sriganesha wrote the Mahabharata on the condition that his pen should not be stopped. At that time, Maheshir Vedavyas also put a condition before Ganeshji that he should write only after understanding the meaning of what he said. For this reason, in between every thousand verses, Vedavyasa would insert a double verse with a double meaning. After the completion of the Mahabharata, the first recitation was made by Vaishampayan, a disciple of Mahshir Vedavyas, in the assembly of King Janmejaya. King Janmejay was the grandson of Abhimanyu and the son of Parikshit. Who organized the serpent sacrifice to avenge his father’s death.

The 28th Vedavyasa wrote the Mahabharata

To say that the Mahabharata was written by Vedavyasa is also half true. Vedavyasa was not a name of a person but a title which was given to a person who had knowledge of the entire Veda. Before Krishnadvaipayana Vyas, there were 27 Vedavyas, Krishnadvaipayana was the 28th Vedavyas. He was named Krishnadvaipayana because of his black complexion and being born on an island.

The secret of Number 18

In the Mahabharata, 18 points are of great importance. The book Mahabharata has 18 chapters. Krishna had imparted knowledge to Arjuna for a total of 18 days. Only 18 communities of Krishna’s clan had fled from Mathura. The battle of Mahabharata also lasted for 18 days. The Gita, which falls under the Mahabharata, also has all 18 chapters. A total of 18 Axis forces, including 11 from the Kauravas and seven from the Pandavas, fought the Mahabharata war. There were also 18 masterminds of this war. A total of 18 warriors survived the war.

Key Facilitator

The main facilitators of the war were Dhritarashtra, Duryodhana, Dushasana, Karna, Shakuni, Bhishma, Rona, Kripacharya, Ashvasthama, Kritavarma, Shrikrishna, Yudhisthira, Bhima, Arjuna, Nakula, Sahadeva, Draupadi and Vidura. After the battle of Mahabharata, a total of 18 warriors including Kripacharya, Kritavarma and Ashvattha on behalf of Kauravas and Yudhisthira, Arjuna, Bhima, Nakula, Sahadeva, Krishna, Satyaki, Yuyutsu etc. on the side of Pandava were alive. The only surviving Dhritarashtra son in the Mahabharata war was Yuyutsu, who had sided with the Pandavas on the day the war began.

Mahabharat

The Main Curses of the Mahabharata

In the Mahabharata, curses and blessings are used in significant quantities. Speaking of curses, King Shantanu was a king named Mahabhish in his previous birth. And Brahma was angry and cursed him to be born in a human vagina and suffer, and Ganga was also cursed to go to earth and be born. Similarly, the sage Vashishta cursed eight Vasus to be born in the human vagina, one of whom was cursed to stay on earth for a long time, and the person who received the curse was Ganga Putra Devvrat or Bhishma Pitamah.

King Pandu was cursed to die if he had intercourse with sage Kindam. Karna was cursed by Guru Parashuram, Arjuna by Urvashi, Krishna by Gandhari and Ashvatthama by Krishna. Similarly, Mahish Maitreya cursed Duryodhana, Draupadi cursed Ghatotkacha, Durvasa cursed Krishnaputra Samba, Yudhisthira cursed all women, Vyas cursed Kashi Nagari, Mandavya cursed Yamaraj, Draupadi cursed the dog and King Parikshit cursed Shamik.

Talk of Lord Krishna

The combination of eight points with Lord Krishna is amazing. According to prophecy, Vishnu was to be born as Krishna from Devaki’s womb. Vishnu was born as the eighth incarnation in the eighth moment of the night on the day of Bhadra Krishna Ashtami in the Manvantar 28th Dwapar of the eighth Manu Vaivasvat. In that marriage there was only the sight of the auspicious planet. On the coincidence of Rohini Nakshatra and Ashtami Tithi, a yoga called Jayanti was formed. That day was about 3112 BC (5126 years before today).

According to the astrologers, the time of 12 o’clock at night was zero time. Lord Krishna had eight Patranis. The eight cities of Mathura, Gokul, Govardhan, Vrindavan, Avantika, Hastinapur, Dwarka and Prabhas were of special importance in his life. The Mahabharat war was fought only by Krishna. He seems to be the narrator of every incident in the Mahabharat. It was the result of Lord Krishna’s moral skill to stop Duryodhana from going naked in front of his mother, to ask for alms through Karna’s armor earrings, to ask for his head as a gift from the barbarians, and to kill Karna, Ron and Bhishma, Jayadratha etc. On the whole, if the Mahabharat war was fought because of Krishna, he made the Pandava side victorious.

Lord Krishna

Lord Krishna is one of the most famous and praised God in Hinduism. He is considered to be the incarnation of Lord Bishnu who took birth in Treta Era to teach and give lesson to the People in the world to work for good and live life in the way of “Dharma”. There are many stories about Lord Krishna. Krishna, who had a love affair with 1600 Gopinis, had a close friendship with the very poor Sudama. Whether in terms of scholarship or romance, Lord Krishna is one step ahead. This unique and rainbow charcater  of his, has become an ideal for the present generation as well.

Lord Krishna

Krishna’s Birth & Rise to End Untruth

Avatar is a combination of two Sanskrit words. ‘Ava’ which means arrival and ‘Tara’ which means star. Krishna is believed to have been born for the end of Kansa and the end of bad tendencies. Nata was Kansa Krishna’s real uncle.

Kansha had imprisoned his sister-in-law after he was pronounced dead at the hands of his nephew. Krishna was born in the same jail. And, his father got him out of jail in a very safe and unique way. While the jail was said to have seven doors. And, soldiers were stationed in each. As soon as Lord Krishna was born, he got into trouble. However, he grows up coping with all these problems. His  date of birth, his appearance, Lilas(Stories) are   all meaningful.

Lord Krishna

Why Black Skin Color?

Krishna is often shown in dark blue. Krishna means black or dark. This means that in order for seekers to enter into self-contemplation, they need to turn their eyes to themselves. The outer eyes should be closed. The outer eye sees the colorful world, the inner eye the truth. An article mentions that the element that is initially felt when returning to the truth is darkness.

Lord Krishna

The Vices Within Oneself

It says, ‘Krishna’s color is black, that is, formless.’ When the seeker enters within himself, he begins to see the dark side of himself. There is a poisonous thing inside people like a monster, a snake. There is also an cannibalistic tendency. There is work, anger, greed, jealousy, hatred, ego. As one realizes this tendency within oneself, one also realizes the supernatural music and self that manifests within oneself.

Why The Flute And The Conch(Sankha)

He is seen carrying a flute or conch in his hand. While announcing the war, a conch shell is seen in his hand. And, in the humorous situation, Murali. From the formlessness within oneself, meditations begin to resound or begin to be felt, and the sounds outside and inside become monotonous. In this case, devotion, music, dance and entertainment. Lust is secondary. It was depicted as a rasalila of gopinis listening to Murali’s tune. Krishna is seen carrying conch shells during the war. This state is the state where the seeker has risen above worldly pleasures.

Lord Krishna

Meaning of Krishna’s Form

That is to say, Krishna is not a person but a symbol of the supreme power of all creation. His appearance and various activities show that a person becomes God by becoming a seeker. Therefore, Krishna Janmashtami is said to be an opportunity to enter the stage of the same sadhana. However, now it is being celebrated as a ritual.

Lord Krishna

Darkness and spirituality

The astrological side of Krishna is considered dark and the dry side is considered as the light side. The moon side is dark and black. Similarly, Shuklapaksha is luminous. It is mentioned that Krishna’s side is the time to start from the point of view of spiritual practice. Ashtami falls right in the middle of this side.Fasting is done on the day before Krishna Ashtami. Thus, the dark night is important for those who fast and enter into the formless form.

Lord Krishna

The Meaning of the Name

Lord Krishna had six other brothers born, who were killed by Kansa. It is said that Devaki once asked her to return all her dead sons so that she could see her sons. The sons’ names were Smar, Udgi, Pariswanga, Patanga, Kusubrat and Gharni. It is known as various human senses. Smar means memory, Udgi means speech, Pariswig means listening, etc. After his death, Krishna was born.

The Mahabharata is the world’s largest epic, written by Krishna Dvaipayana Vedavyasa. The Mahabharata is more intertwined with our lives than poetry, so it is natural to be curious about it. In fact, it is difficult to say that the Mahabharata war was fought for this reason, but the general belief is that the war is for women, land and self-respect.The Mahabharata war is believed to have been originally caused by a division of land, but some scholars say it could have been done peacefully, but the stubbornness of some women led to a bitter war between the Kauravas and the Pandavas. Let’s see who are the women who caused the fierce battle of Mahabharata and caused irreparable damage to the whole of India.

Satyawati

The Mahabharata begins with the story of King Shantanu. Maharaj Shantanu, the son of Bharatbanshi Maharaj Pratip, married Ganga and had a son, Devvrat. After Ganga left, Shantanu married Satyavati in his old age. Before her marriage, Satyavati had made a condition with Shantanu that the child born from her womb should be the heir of the kingdom. After hearing this condition, Shantanu, who had returned quietly, became restless, covered with sadness, and began to live alone quietly. When Devvrat found out about this, he immediately went and promised Satyavati that ‘I will practice celibacy for life, I will not even rule and your children will inherit the throne.’ After such a promise, Devvrat was called Bhishma.Satyavati became one of the reasons why the Kuru dynasty was destroyed from Hastinapur. If Bhishma had not promised to marry Satyavati to Shantanu, Vedavyasa’s sons Dhritarashtra and Pandu would not have been the rulers of Hastinapur or they would not have been born. In that case, history would have been different.

Dhritarashtra and Pandu’s mothers were the daughters of Ambika and Ambalika Kashiraj. The birth of Prithari or Kunti, the daughter of Dhritarashtra’s wife Gandhara Naresh Subal’s daughter Gandhari and Pandupatni Raja Kuntibhoja, seems to be full of struggles. What is special is that Satyavati, the mother of Vichitravirya, the husband of Amkia and Ambalika, used to interfere in the internal affairs of the palace and the palace till she was touched. If she took the whole decision, Bhishma’s only job would be to obey her orders. At the time of his death, King Shantanu had ordered Bhishma, who had received the gift of euthanasia, to remain loyal to the throne of Hastinapur and serve him. After the departure of Satyavati, the center of power changed, but the fortunes of Hastinapur did not return and eventually the battle of Mahabharata took place.

Kunti

Kunti

Kunti was married to Pandu, who was then the king of Hastinapur. He was able to become king because his brother was blind.According to the story, Pandu was unable to have children due to the sage’s curse. His two wives Kunti and Madri were both childless. Ironically, Pandu would die if he tried to have sex with his wives. Annoyed by this, Pandu took both his wives into exile, and Dhritarashtra was placed on the throne.Kunti had given birth to a son from the sun before her marriage due to the gift of Durvasa sage. Due to folklore, Kunti threw the son into the river. She could invoke the deity of her choice by means of magic and give birth to children from him. After hearing about such a gift, Kunti, with Pandu’s consent, gave birth to Yudhisthira from Dharmaraj, Bhimsen from Vayu and Arjuna from Indra. She also taught the secret to her stepmother.

Madhuri called Ashwini Kumar and gave birth to two sons named Nakul and Sahadev. Thus Pandu’s five children. After the death of Pandu and Madri, the ambitious Kunti moved to Hastinapur with her five sons. All the sages in Hastinapur at that time were friends with Pandu, so they helped the sons of the friend to establish him in Hastinapur. Believing in Kunti’s words, everyone considered the Pandavas as Panduputra and welcomed them. Kunti met Gandhari in Hastinapur. Gandhari had hundreds of sons.War must happen anyway. ‘This shows how warlike she was.

3.Ghandhari

Ghandhari

Dhritarashtra behaved like a blind man not only with his eyes but also with his heart, so Gandhari and his brother Shakuni (who after the marriage of his sister handed over the kingdom of Gandhara to his son) started living in Hastinapur. In Dhritarashtra, he had great affection for his son Duryodhana. He could not say anything about his son.Gandhari was worried that Rajpath would fall into the hands of Kunti’s sons. On the other hand, Shakuni had aroused hatred in the mind of his nephew Duryodhana towards the Pandavas from an early age. Gandhari and Dhritarashtra could have given five villages to the Pandavas to end the war, but they never accepted it.

4.Dhraupadi

Draupadi

Draupadi, the wife of the Pandavas and the daughter of the Panchal king Drupada, is considered to be the greatest reason behind the Mahabharata war. He was also born with his brother Dhrishtadyumna through a sacrifice made by Drupada to take revenge on Guru Dronacharya of Hastinapur. According to the story of Mahabharata, the mockery made by Draupadi at Duryodhana Indraprastha later became the cause of war.In Indraprastha, there was a magnificent palace built by Daityaraja May. There was an illusion of water in the ground and water in the court. Duryodhana was confused while walking in such a place. He used to fetch water consciously, take care of his clothes and the place where he leaned would be on the ground, but the place where he leaned on the ground would fall on the water. Seeing this, Draupadi laughed loudly saying, ‘The son of the blind is blind’, which hurt Duryodhana’s pride. Duryodhana sought a way to avenge the humiliation inflicted on him. Shakuni helped in this. He called the Pandavas to Hastinapur to gamble and after winning all their kingdoms in gambling, he even won Draupadi and brought him to the assembly and tried to expose him as a slave. As a result, animosity and enmity between the Kauravas and the Pandavas, which could never be eradicated, entered.

This became the biggest reason for the Mahabharata war. Draupadi had vowed not to tie her thigh until she was bathed in the blood of misrule. The Pandavas returned to the kingdom with Duryodhana after fulfilling the conditions of twelve years of exile and one year of secrecy. War broke out because Duryodhana said that he would not give even the land equal to the tip of a needle to the Pandavas. Earlier, while going to Hastinapur as the envoy of Lord Krishna, Yudhisthira had said that peace should be achieved by meeting the Kauravas and there should be no killing. At that time Draupadi was angry and said that if these lazy Pandavas do not want to fight, stay at home, I will go to the battlefield myself with my brothers, old father and children. From this, Draupadi’s attitude of having to fight anyway is clear.

Subhadra

Subhadra was the sister of Krishna and Balarama, whom Krishna arranged to marry Arjuna. Balaram, on the other hand, had earlier promised Duryodhana to marry his sister Subhadra to him. Due to this, there is a kind of animosity between Arjuna and Duryodhana.According to sources, the battle of Mahabharata was the result of a battle between Kunti and Gandhari which was added to the fire by Draupadi. That is to say, neither the Kauravas were real Kauravas nor the Pandavas were real Pandavas. Kauravas were the grandsons of Vedavyasa, while Pandava was the grandson of Vedavyasa and the son of the gods. The gods indirectly joined the war to make their sons inherit the kingdom, but Vedavyas was never partial. He became apathetic.
