Tourist potential

This park seems to play an important role in making Beas Municipality-4 Damauli Bazaar a center of internal tourism. By working according to the master plan, it can be made the focal point of religious tourism. This park has the potential to become a religious tourism destination not only in Damauli but also in Tanahun.

According to the master plan, some other funds will be required for the construction of structures other than temples. In the past, a 36-square-foot tin roofed Tanahu Kalika temple was established with the participation of the Parliamentary Constituency Infrastructure Development Program and local consumers. Problems

Locals say that the construction of infrastructure at Tanahu Kalika Shaheed Peace Park in Beas Municipality-4, which is listed as one of the 100 new tourist destinations, has not been able to move ahead due to lack of budget. Despite the goal of developing the park as a religious tourist destination, there has been a problem in accelerating the construction of infrastructure due to lack of budget.

According to the master plan, infrastructures including entrance, ticket counter, parking lot, martyr’s memorial park, kindergarten, water fountain, small zoo, view tower and resting place are yet to be constructed in the park.
