There are around 100 hotels here, said Nimdorje Sherpa, chairman of Pasang Lhamu village municipality.

Exciting air travel
The only way to reach Lukla Bazar is by air. Air service is available from Tribhuvan Airport in Kathmandu and Manthali Airport in Ramechhap. Due to the bad weather, the flight is usually in the morning. Kathmandu-Lukla Bazar flight is full of thrills. It is one of the 10 most risky airports in the world. This route has 19 seats. As the ship flies close to the mountain and through a ravine, the passenger’s mind gets cold and scared. Ships also move according to wind speed and weather. If there is any change in the weather in Lukla and the plane cannot land, the ship will return to Kathmandu. Normally Kathmandu-Lukla flight is 40 minutes. From Manthali, you can reach Ukla in 20 minutes.

If you are going to visit Lukla Bazar, you should prepare thinking that you are going on a journey in the Himalayas. There is always snow on the hills around Lukla Bazaar. So the weather gets cold. Don’t forget to wear thick clothes, sports shoes or trekking shoes, trousers, hats, thick socks to wear on the body. Also, if you have regular medication, you must carry it. Not only that, it is beneficial to take medicines for common types like headache, diarrhea, painkillers, Vix, gastric reduction.
