Antu Danda : There is a cool atmosphere in Antudanda at a distance of about 50 km due to extreme heat in the Terai region. Stating that Shri Antu has made significant contribution to the tourism development of Nepal, he opined that it would become an important destination for internal and external tourism if there was further initiative from the state level in publicity, management and infrastructure development.

Chairman of the Antu Tourism Development Committee, Dhan Kumar Ale, said that Antu has gained interest and discussion in the field of tourism since 2040 BS.
He informed that the locals have started homestay here as a paying guest since 2052 BS, but the business as a homestay has gained momentum since October 10, 2008. Chief Operating Officer of Highground Adventure Nepal, Dinesh Maharjan, who is active in the tourism business in Pokhara, says that Antudanda has a lot of tourism potential.
